Requirements
  1. Bachelor degree from a reputable University.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience within in a similar industry or other manufacturing environments.
  3. Strong negotiation skill. Ability to negotiate at the highest levels with suppliers is an advantage.
  4. Good communicator, both written and oral
  5. Ability to prioritize and organize own workload, and able to work within a team
  6. Excellent analytical skills and interpersonal skills with a can do attitude.
  7. Fluent English both written and spoken 
  8. Proficient user of Microsoft office (excel, word and PowerPoint).
 
 
Specific requirement:
  1. Experience in handling direct material (raw material for production)
  2. Preferably experience with plastic related material (has supplier database/ networking)
  3. Experience in sourcing supplier and negotiating price
  4. Experience in using SAP or Oracle system
Responsibilities
  1. Process purchase requisitions / orders from functional departments, and liaise with requestor for specifications and supplier reference.
  2. Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
  3. Invite, assess, and recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals. And maintain supplier sourcing to get competitive pricing.
  4. Establish and negotiate best price, contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
  5. Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists, and supplier database.
  6. Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance
  7. Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies
  8. To ensure that all Purchase Orders are complete and correct and expedite overdue purchase orders.
  9. Coordinate with Export-Import department for goods arrival.
  10. Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practice
