Requirements
  1. Age between 25-35 years old
  2. Bachelor’s Degree holder
  3. Freight Forwarding - A minimum of 2 years selling Imports and Exports solutions to local and international clients
  4. Business proficient English skill
  5. A proven track record and successful sales history
  6. Valid Driving License
  7. Minimum 3-5 years of applicable business development / sales experience providing solutions in Ocean & Air Freight Forwarding
  8. Ability to understand clients' Freight Forwarding challenges and structure effective solutions
  9. Possess valid Driving License
  10. Professional image, polished presentation
  11. Strong relationship building and negotiating skills
  12. High energy and results-oriented, successful closer
  13. Confident, Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
  14. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  15. Excellent listening and analytical skills
  16. Excellent client / management presentation skills
  17. Ability to work under pressure
  18. Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  19. Previous operational background a plus
  20. Computer literate (MS Office)
Responsibilities
  1. Utilize market data and develop sales strategies to increase customer base.
  2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
  3. Travel throughout assigned territory to meet with regular and prospective customers
  4. Qualify potential sales leads
  5. Able to develop and maintain strong business relationships
  6. Provide pricing, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
  7. Identify opportunities to streamline customer supply chain activities and procedure, including identifying cost saving opportunities for the customer whilst maximizing account profitability
  8. Undertake formal and informal business reviews with the customer and appropriate Head of Department.
  9. Actively engage with Air & Ocean freight management and other operational teams, in order to understand general and client specific issues
  10. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new business generated, and manage the implementation of new business into the operational department
  11. Provide activity reports and sales plans
  12. Actively participate in aggressive sales and skills training
  13. Adhere to all requirements outlined in the Sales Policy
  14. Other duties as may be assigned
  15. Client entertaining, which may involve after office hours
  16. Achieve the agreed monthly/quarterly/annual growth targets
  17. Debt Control: Follow up on payments due and timely recovery
