Requirements

Looking for someone preferably with 2 to 3 years of experience in ticketing. 

Responsibilities
  1. You are expected to liaise with passengers and clients on all matters relating to reservations and ticketing.
  2. It is your duty to ensure all tickets are issued are correct, i.e. all the details in the ticket comply with request made by the customer.
  3. You should ensure that the correct fare code is inserted in the ticket and that the customer is made aware of all restrictions and conditions. A copy of the said ticket should be signed off by your immediate superior / manager. 
  4. Whenever a personal ticket is issued, it is your responsibility to ensure that payment is collected and remitted to the Finance Department.
  5. You are to complete all administrative work related to the issue of tickets before the close of each day, i.e invoicing, refunds, reissuance etc. It is important that you work as a team member in the Ticketing Department as well as the rest of the staff of the company.
  6. You will be assigned as a Weekend Duty Officer on a rotation basis. 
  7. We have a 6PM to 2AM shift which is operated from the staff’s home. You will only be assigned this shift once you are deemed fit to work independently. This shift will be assigned on a rotation basis. 
  8. You are required to manage and assist with filing, copying and faxing. 
  9. You will be handling collation & distribution of reports and other documents. 
  10. You will be dealing with incoming & outgoing mail, general emails and phone calls. 
  11. You will undertake & assist in recording and processing of invoices, receipts and payments as required and instructed        . 
  12. All other duties related to the Travel industry as and when may be assigned to you by the Management.
