Job Purpose :
The Technical Support Specialist provides technical sales support to EAFM Strategic Account Manager, company distributors and directly to customers, hence help increase sales.
Key Accountabilities :
  1. Training distributors, customers and end users
  2. Training Development – Gather information and requirements, develop materials for different level (such as basic, intermediate, and advanced)
  3. Sales through technical support to distributors and end users, e.g., making product recommendation 
  4. Exploring and finding sales opportunities and work with the sales team to develop the opportunities 
  5. Technical support and follow up
  6. Claims follow up – Gather information and resolve claims. Schedule visits if necessary
  7. Conversion of competitor accounts to Donaldson.
  8. Doing field visits and tests 
  9. Feedback of field information
  10. Sales force training & field trials 
  11. Technical assistance, warranties & field training
  12. Participation in sales and technical presentations during trade exhibits and sales calls 
  13. Tasks assigned by the supervisor as and when is required
