  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills including planning, organization, resourcing, and monitoring. It is important that they have an excellent working knowledge of software development management tools.
  • Communications: Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Programming Skills: Excellent programming skills in C/C++, C#, Java, PHP etc. and Software developments Methodology and Modelling: UML, Agile. We program for both x86 processors, Linux, Windows and microprocessors.
  • Database Systems: Good knowledge of database systems such as MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, API technology ADO/OLEDB, DAO,ODBC and CDO).
  • GPS: Good knowledge of GPS technologies and their application to tracking and other similar applications.
  • Tele-Communications Skills: Excellent knowledge of both practical and theoretical communications technologies including wireless and wired networking, routing/switching, TCP/IP protocols, serial and parallel interfaces, etc. Basic knowledge of VSATs, Cisco OS, and VOIP
  • Systems Analysis: Some experience in doing systems analysis for business, process control, or mobile applications.
  • Electronics Skills. Good knowledge of electronics. Must manage the development of software for various sensors and process control.
  • General IT Computer Skills: Knowledge of a broad range of relevant multiuser computer systems, applications, and equipment. Excellent knowledge of computer and hardware components and how they interact. Working knowledge of both Unix and Windows.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience on Product Development Life Cycle
  • Education: University degree is related subject.
General Description:
This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer software, which require the integration of various hardware, and communications technologies.
Management Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Plan, Resource, Staff Development, Supervise, Monitor/Report. Meet project goals, budget and schedule.
  2. Staff Resourcing: Hire good people that have the required skills and are a good fit for the job and company.
  3. Staff Management: Hire good people and manage in such a manner that promotes good teamwork and the achievement of company objectives. Set goals for all staff and manage them to those goals.
  4. Staff Development: Promote the professional development of subordinates.
  5. Software Development Tools: Put in place the necessary software development tools to effectively and efficiently manage and control the software development process and protect the software assets. This includes coding and documentation standards, source code control, backup systems, and testing protocols.
  6. Performance Reviews: Do performance reviews of subordinates. Give frequent to employees on their performance.
Other Responsibilities:
  1. Systems Analysis and Design: Manage the system analysis and design hardware, software, and communications solutions for customer requirements. Integrate various off-the-shelf and customs development technologies to arrive a solutions to meet requirements.
  2. Development: Manage the development stages of new product development including hardware design, software development, communications design and the integration of all components. Also, design the production process.
  3. Effective, Economical, and Reliable: Design and develop solutions which are effective, economical and reliable.
  4. Customers: Meet with customers to understand system requirements
  5. Research: Investigate new or different technologies that can be used in the product development. Research various technologies as required to develop solutions.
  6. Project Budgeting: Cost out solutions in both the R&D phases and production phases. Manage the section budget to plan.
  7. Project Scheduling: Develop and manage project plans and meet project schedules.
  8. Project Planning: Develop, monitor and report on project plans and update as necessary.
  9. Reporting: Provide project status reports to management and customer on a regular and timely basis. Meet frequently with the customer and project team to keep the project on track – objectives, budget and schedule.
  10. Assist: Assist others as required - research solutions, get prices, availability, etc.
