Others :

  1. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
  2. Strong EHS background
  3. Bachelor degree: Safety, Environmental / Chemical/ Manufacturing / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  4. Certified Ahli K3 UmumAbility to work and leverage in local & multicultural environment.
  5. Normal manufacturing plant/office working conditions apply. This position is subject to the hazards and risks of a food manufacturing plant and its working environment.
Prioritized Responsibilities
1. Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Strategies (5%)
  1. Support QSE Manger to set plant EHS goals and strategies for short and long term plan to align with CPS global for continual improve environment and safety performance.
  2. Develop Water and Energy Vision & Master Plan.
  3. Ensure effective source vulnerability assessments and implementation of a plan for source water protection.
2. Safety &Sustainability Initiatives (30%)
  1. Establish plant Safety & Sustainability initiatives following EHS Strategies in key areas below:
  • Safety and Occupational Health including Risk management, Fatality Prevention, Ergonomics program and  Contractor Management
  • Behaviour Based Safety
  • Safety Maturity
  • Water and Energy Efficiency management
  • Clean Energy & Carbon emission
  • Wastewater Management
  • Waste management
  • Water Management
  1. Contribute back to local communities by meeting permit requirements from local community, where required, aligning with BU Planet initiatives.
3. Measurement, Analysis and Reporting (10%)
  1. Ensure development and on-going monitoring of EHS metrics along with key programs and plans to achieve those targets.
  2. Analysis on EHS metrics and perform corrective & preventive actions if required.
  3. Report EHS metrics and data as per requirements of CPS Global and The Company reporting system such as Tier 1 dashboard, i-Tech and EJT.
4. Standards and Compliances (40%)
  1. To be the key leader in developing, implementing and maintaining ESLP-Legal compliance, KORE, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and other related international standards. 
  2. Provide support and direction to other plant functions and coordinate with auditors during on-site compliance audits.
  3. Responsible for effective resolution of plant Environmental, Safety or Occupational Health issue with strong collaboration with plant associates and CPS -QSE.
  4. Organize and conduct training programs, campaigns and provide updates to all plant associates, contractors and visitors to ensure full compliances and improve their awareness and knowledge on ESLP.
  5. Ensure all EHS operational (patrol, waste water operation and all safety equipment are inspected and in a good condition) are conducted consistently
5. Legal Licenses (15%)
  1. Manage plant legal licenses and permits related with EHSand ensure these are up to date.
  2. Liaise with local authority in factory inspection, accident investigation, new ESLP requirements and other compliances related matters.
Communication Complexities :
  1. Internal : CPS ID Leadership team, CPS Global ESLP team, CPS ID associates, and CPS ID frontline leadership team.
  2. External : Bottlers and suppliers or service providers, Third party auditing services, Training providers. 
Analysis :
  1. Can approach complex issues without difficulty. Good analytical and judgemental skills for problem identification and providing solutions
  2. Recognize the need for, draws on, and rapidly learns new analytic approaches. Can analyse problems and needs related to quality, sustainability and employees safety.
  3. Push beyond existing analytic capabilities; build new and creative conceptual frameworks and/or analytic approaches. Stimulate creative problem solving and ensures a very high quality in all end products.
  4. Develop creative and innovative recommendations that take into account the implementation potential.
