  1. MBA/Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
  2. 5 to 8 years of experience in selling gas turbines packages in the power generation industry, and familiar to the Asia market.
  3. Proficient in engineering assignments, preferably with turbomachinery applications
  4. Proven track record of delivering business value, bringing the benefits of solution even to non-technical customers
  5. General knowledge of turbomachinery principles and theory, mechanical and electrical  engineering and applications related to our business is essential 
  6. Demonstrable  ability to interface cross-culturally, cross-fuctionally and technical demonstrations
  7. Must  have sufficient knowledge of power generation markets and turbomachinery applications
  8. Prior experience in preparing and delivering proposals, with great leaderships skills are required
  9. Confident presenter with excellent presentation skills and the ability to persuasively present Solar Turbines; product offering 
  10. Great interpersonal skill and able to communicate fluentlly and effectively in English
  11. Open to extensive travelling 70% or more
  12. Selected candidate will be based at their home country
  1. Sale of new turbomachinery systems, construction services and aftermarket services as part of initial new project sales
  2. Direct technical and commercial sales responsibility for Solar turbomachinery systems within an assigned geographic area and for specific customer accounts
  3. Work closely with the sales manager, prepares commercial and technical proposals and represents the company in negotiations with potential customers
  4. Coordinate with project application engineering (PAE), customer services, Construction services, contracts and finance departments, as well as others to respond to customer needs
  5. Finalize the contract or purchase order and meet customers expectations
