Our client is a French company that produces distilled beverages. The company's eponymous products, Pernod Anise and Ricard Pastis, are both anise-flavoured liqueurs and are often referred to simply as Pernod or Ricard. The company also produces several other types of pastis.
After the banning of absinthe, our client was created from the Pernod Fils company, which had produced absinthe. It is now a worldwide conglomerate.
Our client owns the distilled beverage division of the former corporation Seagram (including brands like Chivas Regal), along with many other holdings. In 2005, the company acquired a British-based competitor, Allied Domecq plc.
In 2008, our client announced its acquisition of Swedish-based V&S Group, which produces Absolut Vodka.
In 2013  joined leading alcohol producers as part of a producers' commitments to reducing harmful drinking.

The position provides comprehensive implementation and administration of marketing, field activities and workings which includes : promotion, outlet relationship, pouring/promotion contract, market and field observation, etc.


Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics :

  1. Focus on core brands Chivas Regal (12/18/RS), Martell (VSOP/CB/XO), absolut, and wines (JC/WE) and develop aggresively on secondary brands: pouring spirits (Ballantines, Seagram's Gin, Beefeater, Havana Club, Tequila Olmeca, Wyborawa Vodka, Passport, etc.) and other wines/champagne
  2. Implementation of brand activitations for targeted brands within his/her sector
  3. In charge for field activities related to product/brand distribution such as: monitor distribution (i.e. listing) of PR brands, check/monitor GMA, update/monitor outlets' selling prices
  4. To conduct preliminary discussion/negotiation with outlet for pouring/promotional contract and to finalize it together with Sales Manager/Management
  5. To perform discussion for implementation on promotion programs with outlets. Control and monitor of the promotion implementation including premiums, sales depletion, etc
  6. To supervise sales promotion girls (promoters) in each respected sector/outlets (if any) including monitor on time/work discipline, selling skills, sales volume, effectiveness and efficiency of each individual, etc
  7. Relationship building with trades/all outlets in each respective sector to ensure strong relationship with trades. This includes:spending time with trade people, regular night/market visits, sales call, PR to trades, etc
  8. Observe and collect market data intelligence such as: collect sales data, observe/analyze overall market in each sector, observe monitor competitor movement (on sales/depletion, trade/promotional activities), identify potential opportunityand threat to PR brands and cope with market environment, collect inputs on promotional activities from trades/consumers, outlet update, etc
  9. Strong coordination with marketing department for brand related aspects including brand logo, brand guidelines, TVC, print-ad, brand images, pricing guidelines, brand compass, global brand strategy, merchandising guidelines, etc
  10. Monthly reporting (Sales depletion, Activities, competition, Promotion, Outlet database, list of outlet contracts, etc)
  11. To handle and administer for the marketing related events for each respective sector (outlet responsibility) such as :seminars, tasting, pairing dinners, etc
  12. Ensure full compliance with PR Indonesia operation and Group code of business conduct policy
  13. Other tasks to be assigned by direct supervisor/management
