RimbunASK - Changes in Annual Non Taxable Income / PTKP for Indonesia Resident in year 2016
29 Jul 2016 / / News

Question from Andy:
May I know the amount of PTKP for the year 2016? I heard from the HR in the company that the government increases the PTKP threshold again in the year 2016, is that true?
Answer:
Hi Andy, wish you are well.
First of all, thank you for raising this question. Perhaps many are not aware that it is true that in April 2016, DPR has approved a government proposal to increase the Annual non-taxable income (PTKP) by 50% in 2016. Thus, the amount of taxable income for 2016 is now IDR 54 million per year or IDR 4.5 million per month, and these changes are in effect from January 2016.
To give you a better overview of the changes, I’d give you an illustration of the increase from the year 2014 – 2016.
