  2. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

  10. Experience in the Construction industry and ACCPAC Software would be an advantage
  1. Responsible for the whole spectrum of accounting functions, financial policies and procedures, budgeting, tax , general office administration and Human Resources.
  2. Prepare the Company's Management accounts including the reporting package to Regional / Head Office, and annual /biannual or quarterly budgets as required.
  3. Ensure timely financial closing.
  4. Perform monthly closing of the books / general ledger.
  5. Review receipts and disbursement vouchers for any discrepancies and allocate transactions to appropriate classification utilizing current Accounting Codes.
  6. Accounts Payable management. Cash flow planning and hedging.
  7. Collections and accounts receivables management.
  8. Procurement function. Managing procurement process and planning towards cost saving and efficiency initiative.
  9. Budget analysis; budget-last year and this year; month-end, quarter -end, and year-end closing.
  10. Prepare required financial reports to other government agencies and financial institutions.
  11. Establish and improve internal controls and systems.
  12. Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax authorities, and relevant government bodies.
  13. Human Resources function - including hiring of employees, maintaining company regulations and administrations of employee leaving the company based on the Directives of Management and/or Head/Regional Office.
  14. Office administration function. Managing office amenities to create conducive working environment for employee.
  15. To control and manage matters related to the Company's business licenses and legality so that the Company and its Management meets the statutory and Legal Requirements. In undertaking this function, you may coordinate and obtain the assistance of Legal Advisors / Legal Consultants.
