1. Purpose:

  • The position shall be primarily responsible for driving market strategies and providing marketing approach to grow the market share penetration in IP business in Indonesia and providing on solutions & technical support services to customers and commercial teams. The role will include also installation, troubleshooting, trial performance monitoring, problem resolution and project management/ improvement.

3. Dimensions of Position:

  • Area of Operations: IP – Indonesia
  • Will be responsible to work closely with customers in Indonesia. The dimension of the position will also involve rolling out improvement projects and quality initiatives in product, applications for IP customers in Indonesia.

4. Key Result Areas:

  • Liaise with Sales Manager to formalize the local market strategies and action plan to aggress into higher market share.
  • Carry out product presentation and prepare sales proposal.
  • Propose new product and increase market share.
  • Monitor and fulfil Monthly Sales Forecast and Yearly Sales Budget. Also involve in the preparation of budget and sales forecast, credit control, margin of sales and account management.
  • Leading the planning and implementation of improvement plan (as per strategic plans or action plans) in a time bound manner.
  • Develop connection to key customers.
  • Conduct trials co-ordination to establish the benefits and the values generation.
  • Help in resolving customer complains related improper product application, product quality, pricing, delivery and services.
  • Provide visit report, sales report and trial report.
  • Help in conduct customer workshop on proper product application to educate users at customer’s end.
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving.
  • Payment collection.

5. Main Interactions – Internal:

  • Sales Manager Indonesia; Daily Planning, implementation and progress review
  • Regional Sales Manager; IP SEA As and when required Planning, implementation and progress review
  • M & T Manager IP As and when required For design, estimation, update of application service related initiatives

6. Main Interactions – External:

  • Customer As and when required Sales initiate and application issues reviews
  • Agent / Distributor As and when required Sales initiate and application issues reviews
  • Subcontractor As and when required Application issues reviews

7. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degrees in Metallurgical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or another related field

8. Experience:

  • 5-10 years working experience with related industry. Experience in Aluminum or Cement industry or Refractory is an advantage

9. Knowledge:

  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles of Aluminium plant, Cement plant, Power plant and Refinery plant
  • Good understanding of the application of castables
